1st Annual BEE Positive Pickleball Tournament

Hosted by the Kayla Bernardi BEE Positive Foundation

Join us for Turlock’s first indoor pickleball tournament on the newly laid courts at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Turlock. We are excited to host up to 180 players competing over three thrilling days:

  • Friday, 11/8: Women’s Doubles from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Max 24 teams)
  • Sunday, 11/10: Men’s Doubles from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Max 36 teams)
  • Monday, 11/11: Mixed Doubles from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Max 30 teams)
  • Tournament Details

    • Format:
      • All teams are guaranteed 5 games.
      • Events will feature pool play in pods of 6 teams.
      • The top 4 teams from each pod will advance to the championship round.
      • Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division.
      • Divisions for all levels—no age restrictions. Your division will be based on the higher-rated player in your team. The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust divisions based on total signups.
      • Games will use rally scoring to 21 points, similar to MLP play. Players will not switch sides during the game.
      • The format and length of games may be adjusted by the tournament committee if necessary.
      • The official ball of the tournament will be the Franklin X-40.
    • Player Commitment: Each team will have a 3-hour commitment from check-in to medal ceremony. Start times will be issued at least one week before the tournament. Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.
      • Example: A 2:00 PM start time means teams should arrive by 1:30 PM and can expect to leave by 4:30 PM.
    • Location: 2400 North Olive Ave, Turlock, CA (The gym is located at the back of the parking lot).

    Player Amenities

    All players will receive a welcome bag at check-in that contains a custom performance t-shirt (black with pink accents), snacks, and water to keep you energized throughout the day!

    Note: Only one shirt per player, even if participating in multiple brackets.

    Entry Fee

    $50 per person per event. Both team members must sign up and pay at the time of registration.

    Please note that there will be no refunds for any reason.
